Doubles throws two targets at once — five pairs at each of the five posts, so 25 pairs and 50 targets, out of a possible 50. Anybody in the squad can score
The traditional trap arrangement is one person walking behind the line with the clipboard, marking five cards at once and hoping nobody asks for a re-count. It works, but it makes one person the bottleneck and the single point of failure — and if that person is also shooting, their own card gets filled in from memory.
